2、逐個端口信號分析
(1)基本命名規律
端口全部大寫,無論是傳遞參數還是端口輸入輸出,全部大寫。內部信號小寫,用於區分是否需要將數據傳遞出去。
AW:adress write的簡寫,寫地址通道的所屬信號。
W:write的簡寫,寫數據通道所屬信號。
B:寫響應通道的所屬信號,為什么用B尚不清楚,簡單記憶為back,返回信號。
AR:adress read的簡寫,讀數據通道所屬信號
R:read 的簡寫,讀數據通道所屬信號。
VALID:握手信號的一部分
READY:握手信號的一部分
(2)每個通道的信號分析
AW:ADDR-地址寫入的載體信號。PORT-仲裁信號,確定主機寫入是否可行。VALID-主機准備信號。READY-從機准備信號。
W:DATA-數據寫入的載體信號。STRB-數據寫入位數信號。
B:RESP-寫響應輸出信號(也是寫信號是否完成的信號)。
AR:ADDR-讀數據載體信號。PORT-仲裁信號
R:DATA-數據讀取的載體信號。RESP-讀通道狀態。
注:只是列舉了一個通道的握手信號,其他通道的作用是一致的。
注意:areset是A RESET的簡寫,不是AR信號,不要誤解。
3、逐個always塊分析
(1)aw模塊分析
基本所有always模塊第一個if都是復位判斷,后面不再詳細說明。從這個模塊可以分析出從機的aw開始工作是主機的ar和r都准備完畢。從機aw的結束是寫響應通道握手成功時,aw_en置1,寫地址通道釋放。寫地址的內容通過awaddr暫存。
(2)w模塊分析
從機的w是在主機的r和ar都准備好后且從機的b開始工作后的停止。
(3)數據寫入緩存模塊分析
這里總共有4個寄存器,通過aw通道的addr和w通道的strb兩個信號構成的簡易選擇器選擇輸入。
(4)b模塊分析
這里的載體信號resp沒有實際工作,一直為0,沒有進行判斷。這和串口通信總是不加奇偶校驗位是一個德行。從機的握手信號有效是前面的步驟完成了之后,握手成功后即關閉。
(5)ar模塊分析
直接判斷握手是否成功,成功即將地址存到addr。握手成功后回到等待狀態。
(6)r模塊分析
同樣是需要從機的ar通道握手成功后開始讀取數據。r通道依靠resp表明是否可以讀取,這里也省略了這里的設計。數據通過從機的r通道的data發送。
(7)數據讀取緩存模塊
讀取的數據通過ar通道addr來選擇某個緩存器。原理和寫數據緩存差不多。也是一個選擇器的功能。
注:我這里為了方便理解,將從機的r對應主機的w,從機的w對應從機的r(aw和ar是一樣的),實際設計中可能不是這樣,畢竟沒有接觸過主機的設計邏輯。
4、物理模型對應
上面紫色的和棕色的序號分別代表數據的寫和讀的全部流程,也是對應上述設計的主要信號的。這是AXI協議最簡單的傳輸方式,也是最簡單的架構。lite的AXI4實現功能的方式就是這么直接。
5、總結
這次通過簡單分析AXI4的lite構型,為下面自定義AXI4的FPGA提供基本的理論以及設計規范的支持。
