SCI審稿流程

 

審稿中涉及到的人：

（1）Editor in Chief（EIC），主編， 此人很重要，有稿件最終決定權。

（2）ADM- (可能是) Administrator 應該是協助主編日常工作的。（這個作用貌似一般）

（3）Associated Editor（AE） 副編輯，此人非常重要，他會在審稿人（reviewers）意見的基礎上對文章作個綜合評價后，給主編一個recommendation。一般主編都會按照AE的意見寫最終的decision letter。

（4）Reviewer--審稿人（Regular paper一般會要求三個審稿人進行審稿），對你的文章進行審稿，並將審稿意見提交給AE。

Article submitted后（即paper提交后）：
1、awaiting admin. procession一般3－4天后就會安排主編。
2、awaiting reviewer assignment 等待指定審稿人。 主編在選擇審稿人，等待審稿人回復是否同意審稿。一般在一周以內。看審稿人回復速度。
3、awaiting reviewer scores 等待審稿人審稿意見。美陶要求審稿人三周內給審稿意見。但是審稿人覺得時間時間不夠，可以寫信給主編要求延長審稿期限。這個時間長短要取決於審稿人是否有空看你的文章，還要看他是否守時。一般三周左右。（個人感覺美陶的審稿人還是很負責的，守時。）
4、awaiting AE assignment 等待AE的指派。編輯部在選擇/聯系AE。一般1－3天左右。
5、awaiting AE recommendation 等待AE的推薦。 美陶要求AE三周內給結果。一般AE比較守時。但基本都是期限的最后一兩天才給結果。
6、awaiting EIC decision －激動人心的時刻。 等待主編的決定。一般3－4天。

EIC的最終決定也分以下幾種情況：

1－Accept

2－accept after minor revision(withour re-review不需要再送審)

3－reconsideration after major revision.(要再送審，即要再經過審稿流程3－6)

4－reject and resubmit (拒稿重投，俗稱大修。論文現在狀態不能接受，但可以修改后重新再投。要重新經過審稿流程1－6)

5－reject （沒希望了，改投其他期刊吧)

Let me show and shortly describe the simple schema of the way of a paper through the system after its submission.

讓我簡要介紹一篇稿子在提交之后經歷的審稿過程。

1、Awaiting admin checklist—— Administrator checks if the paper contains all necessary parts and is suitable for a review. （Administrator 會進行初步審查核實稿件是否包含了所有必要的內容，決定稿子是否適合送審。）

2、Awaiting AE assignement ——Editor-in-chief (EIC) chooses the associate editor (AE) responsible for the review process. （主編會選擇一個副編輯對接下來的審稿流程負責，此人非常重要 ，他會在審稿人意見的基礎上對文章作個綜合評價后，給主編一個recommendation。一般主編都會按照AE的意見寫最終的decision letter。）

3、Awaiting reviewer selection——AE invites at least two reviewers.（副編輯至少邀請兩個審稿專家審稿。）

4、Awaiting reviewer assignment ——Reviewers decide if they accept or decline the invitation (in the second case AE invites another reviewer). （審稿專家決定接受審稿邀請，如果不接受，副編輯會邀請其他專家。）

4'、Invite Reviewers——副主編在邀請審稿人。

5、Awaiting reviewer scores ——Reviewers are working on their reviews. （審稿專家審稿。）

6、Awaiting AE recommendation ——The paper received the sufficient number of reviews (usually 2) and, on their basis, AE makes recommendation to EIC.（收到足夠的審稿意見，在此基礎上副編輯為主編發推薦信。）

7、Awaiting EIC decision——Taking into account the reviewers´comments, AE recommendation and his own opinion, EIC makes a final decision about the paper (accept – revision – reject). （主編會綜合審稿專家、副主編以及他本人的意見，對一篇稿子做出最后的決定。）
