1，上傳軟件包MaterialsStudio70.tgz、msi_7.lic到服務器上。
2，安裝ms一般會創建一個普通用戶msi，軟件安裝在msi賬號下。
創建用戶msi： useradd msi 切換到msi用戶： su – msi

3，激活
使用yum安裝缺少的軟件包
yum install libstdc++-4.4.6-3.el6.i686
將license文件復制到當前目錄，如msi_7.lic
修改msi_7.lic中第一行的this_host為主機名，如：
SERVER hpc ANY 27000
使用下面命令激活：
~/Accelrys/LicensePack/linux/bin/lp_install msi_7.lic
4，設置GateWay開機自動啟動(如果使用windows下的ms客戶端連接到linux上使用需要開啟Gateway，如果使用命令行則不需要啟動)
切換到root用戶：
復制gateway啟動文件
cp ~msi/Accelrys/MaterialsStudio7.0/etc/Gateway/msgateway_control_18888 /etc/init.d/ 設置開機啟動 chkconfig msgateway_control_18888 on 重啟服務 service msgateway_control_18888 restart
5，驗證gateway
打開瀏覽器，輸入http://服務器IP地址:18888，如果能打開界面則成功。
6，使用Windows客戶端連接到Linux計算
在MS軟件windows下的客戶端中添加服務器的Gateway，計算的時候選擇Linux的Gateway就可以從windows直接調用linux計算，
完成后將計算返回到windows下，且如果計算中windows客戶端軟件關閉或關機均不影響計算。
添加Gateway的步驟如下：
1）打開菜單Tools->Server Console，進入配置界面
2）右鍵選擇Server Gateway新建一個Gateway
3）輸入Linux服務器的ip地址，默認端口18888，點Run Diagnostics測試Gateway是否正常，如圖所示驗證成功，點OK關閉窗口
4）計算的時候選擇Gateway為Linux服務器就可以了，其他的與本地計算相同。
