名詞變復數規則(不可數名詞沒有復數，可數名詞有復數)
1.一般名詞復數是在名詞后面加上“s”，
如map→maps，bag→bags等；
2.以s，sh，ch，x等結尾的詞加“es”，
如bus→buses，watch→watches等；
3.以輔音字母＋y結尾的詞，變y為i加es，
如baby→babies等；
以元音字母＋y結尾的名詞變復數時，直接加s變復數，
如monkey→monkeys，holiday→holidays，
4.以o 結尾的名詞變復數時：
（1）沒有生命的名詞加s：如photo→photos ，piano→pianos，radio→radios，
（2）有生命的名詞加es：如potato→potatoes；tomato→tomatoes；hero—heroes
5.以f或fe結尾的名詞變復數時：
變f或fe為v，再加es 如：leaf ; thief; wolf ; wife ; knife ; life
6.不規則的名詞變復數,
如：man ; policeman; woman ; policewoman; child ; foot ; tooth ;
mouse ; sheep ; deer ; fish ; Chinese; Japanese
6.1 中間字母變換
6.1.1 oo變成ee
如 foot,feet tooth,teeth goose,geese
6.1.2 a變e
man,men woman,women (man是復合詞，要注意German不是復合詞，復數是Germans)
6.1.3 后面+en
ox,oxen child,children
6.1.4 無規律
mouse,mice
6.2 單復數同形
sheep,sheep deer,deer Chinese,Chinese
6.3 只有復數形式
trousers褲子,pants褲子,shorts短褲 glasses眼鏡,compasses圓規,scales天平,pliers鉗子,clips剪子.traffic lights交通燈（一般有三盞,這樣理解）sports（運動）
