vlc 是一款開源的,功能十分強大的視頻播放器。手頭上剛好接觸ios視頻播放器的相關開發,於是將其編譯看看,倒也費了不少功夫。
編譯vlc最大的問題是xcode版本變化過快,導致舊的腳本必須修改很多地方去適應新的版本,所以你可能參考某個方法去編譯卻老是出現問題,這里主要介紹如何靈活應變。

其中第二篇博文已經寫的十分詳細了,是我經歷了重重困難,調試了很多次,最終才找到這篇博文並解決了問題,在此表示十分感謝。好,以下就是正文。
編譯環境
我的編譯環境是 Mac OS X 10.8, IOS SDK 6.1(Xcode 4.6),這兩個環境是修改腳本的關鍵,可能你的環境與我不盡相同,所以在對應的地方要做符合自己的修改。
修改過程
1、將vlc的源代碼下載到本地(http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-ios.html),有三個部分,分別將其解壓命名為:MediaLibraryKit, MobileVLC, vlc。並放到一個文件夾VLC下。
2、修改libVLC for ios 的腳本文件 (VLC/vlc/extras/package/ios/build_for_iOS.sh),這個腳本文件主要是為ios版本的vlc下載ffmpeg,生成vlc的庫。

對比原來的腳本,要注意有三點不同:一是SDK的路徑,二是cpp的名稱,三是LDFLAG的參數(多了一個system)。而你在修改的同時,要注意自己的SDK版本,路徑;不同Xcode 的SDK路徑名稱不太一樣,SDK 4.3版本,/Developer/Platform/xxx,SDK5以后/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platform/xxx

對比原來的腳本,一是不用git 下載,二是Simulator和 OS版本是用不同的方法編譯
4、修改生成FFMpeg的config.h的Makefile文件,禁用匯編。
Makefile位於:/VLC/vlc/extras/contrib/src目錄下。搜索第一個FFMPEGCONF,加入一個參數 --diable-asm。即FFMPEGCONF=--diable-asm。
5、修改Xcode 的SDK
為了編譯libdvbpsi庫,稍稍修改iOS SDK的源文件。這是因為編譯時會報錯說找不到"i386/limits.h",所以需要把這個文件拷貝到他的搜尋目錄中去。
- a) 找到目錄:/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhone${PLATFORM}.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS5.0.sdk/usr/include
- b) 在其中新建目錄:i386
- c) 全局搜索某個i386目錄下的limits.h和_limits.h文件,並將搜索到的這兩個文件拷貝入剛才創建的目錄中。
6、替換VLC/vlc/extras/contrib里的bootstrap內容如下,mac為10.7系統的請把其中10.8的文本都替換為10.7。就這是為什么一開始要你注意你的MaxOS環境。這里不修改,會報錯找不到你的SDK

7、執行終端命令 (在路徑VLC下)

這里還並沒有結束,因為接下來你要應付各種調試的問題,因為這個腳本實在是非常的不完善。我調試的方法比較直接,每次都解決掉log里出現的第一個問題,按部就班,到一直把所有問題都解決掉就可以了。
可能遇到的問題及順序如下:
1,第一個make不通過,出現各種Command Not Found : gcc,aclocal,glibtoolize。那是因為你的mac終端編譯環境還沒有配好的原因,首先Xcode現在已經不默認安裝命令行工具了,你需要先把Xcode的Command Line Tool 安裝后(安裝方法自己google),就可以在終端中運行gcc了;然后你需要安裝automake,autoconf,和libtool這些編譯工具。這里我推薦你先安裝brew,這是一個可以在mac下在終端里直接安裝軟件的方法。然后brew install automake autoconf libtool即可。
2,下載ffmepg的庫過程中出錯,這時你需要刪掉/VLC/vlc/extras/contrib/src-arm-apple-darwin10-ios/src/里的庫,重新編譯幾次就好了。
3,下載contrib macosx i386出錯

對於這個錯誤,先進入/vlc/extras/contrib目錄,刪除temp和/host/i686-apple-darwin11/ 下darwin這兩個目錄,然后手動去下載http://downloads.videolan.org/pub/videolan/contrib/contrib-macosx-i386-34.tar.bz2,替換該目錄下的同名壓縮包;該包正常大小為24.4M,而錯誤下載包只有168k;然后重新執行./build_for_iOS.sh,這下應該一切編譯OK。
到最后所有的build SUCCESS都出現之后,你到VLC/MobileVLC目錄下,就可以找到一個可以完美運行的工程。直接連機調試就可以了。
