Linux的歷史(略)
Linux is a free and open source operating system.This is based on a linux Kernel.It is released at the early nineties by linus Torvalds(a Finnish software engineer).Linus is originally designed for Personal Computers based on the intel x86 architecture.But has since been ported to more platforms than any other operating system.The OS only can be used on top500 supercomputers(computer with high performance).Linux can also be used on Embedded systems.that means a controller with dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system.
Linux 是一個免費的開源操作系統。它基於一個 linux 內核。它由 linus Torvalds（芬蘭軟件工程師）於 90 年代初發布。Linus 最初是為基於intel x86 架構的個人計算機設計的。但此后已被移植到比任何其他操作系統更多的平台。該操作系統只能在top500超級計算機（高性能計算機）上使用。Linux 也可用於嵌入式系統。這意味着在更大的機械或電氣系統中具有專用功能的控制器。
補充一下，Linux的發明者不是它（Richard Stallman）。

Linux is originally developed as multitasking system for minicomputers and mainframes around 1975.it has since grown one of the most widely used operating ststems.

Linus Torvalds developed Linux further,who began work on linux in 1991 as a studen at the University of HelsinKi in Finland.He works at the Transmeta Corporation,a start-up in Santa Clara,california,and continues to maintain the linux kernel.This is the lowest-level core component of the operating system.
Linux wanted the program specificallly for the hardware he was using and independent of an operating system because he wanted to use the functions of his new PC with an 80386 processor.linus released the first freely.distrbutable version of Linux 0.01 free on the internet under his own license.
