前不久收到一封Godaddy郵件，大意是說需要驗證我的賬戶身份，暫時凍結了賬戶，需要驗證后才能解鎖。
收到這封郵件的時候有些措手不及，起先我並沒有細看郵件，以為又是推銷的或者是讓我確認Godaddy信息的，后面仔細閱讀后才發現這一封有一些不一樣。很早的時候我就在Godaddy購買了域名並續費了很多年，一直相安無事，怎么忽然又讓我驗證身份了呢？郵件的內容如下：
In order to confirm applicable regulatory compliance, we need additional documentation from you. Please provide a copy of your Passport within thirty (30) days from the date of this communication. If you do not have a Passport, please provide a copy of your National Identification. If you do not provide the requested documentation by that deadline, we will have no choice but to terminate any and all accounts you have with GoDaddy and/or its affiliates.
A scanned image (under 1 MB in size) can be attached as a response to this message. Upon receipt of the requested documentation, we will re-evaluate the status of your account. During this period, your account will remain locked. We appreciate your anticipated cooperation.
隨后我緊急登陸了Godaddy賬戶，發現確實是登陸不上了，於是電話聯系中文客服，客服說這種情況他們也沒辦法，必須要傳身份信息進行解鎖，當時客服還告訴我必須傳英文的身份證信息。由於並沒有出過國，所以我也沒有護照，短時間內辦也不太現實，就傳了中文的身份證照片正反面去解鎖，回了封郵件大意如下：
I am Chinese and I have no Passport ,this is my National Identification look at the attachment,please help me as soon as possible~
幾天后終於收到解封郵件，才稍微松了一口氣。Godaddy回復的郵件內容如下：
Thank you for your inquiry. No further action is required at this time. Your account has been unlocked and is available for your use.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to doing business with you. Please contact Customer Support if you need any assistance in the future.
