在Cisco WLC上進入對應的AP，能夠看到Reset這個AP，但是這里會有兩種選擇：
看到上述的描述，可能很多人都不敢輕易的操作：
1、Hardware Reset：Perform a hardware reset on this AP
2、Set to Factory Defaults：Clear configuration on this AP and reset it to factory defaults
我們都知道LAP的配置是從WLC統一下發的。可能唯一覺得重要的，就是靜態的IP地址，況且有時候我們使用的還是DHCP，並且使用了DHCP Option43，所以，即便是AP被Reset了，也可以獲取IP地址和WLC的IP地址，然后重新加入到WLC。這一點是不用擔心的。
從Set to Factory Defaults這里可以看到，有Clear All Config 和 Clear Config Except Static IP這兩種選擇。說明給靜態配置IP的AP，也是留有選擇的余地的。
那么如果只需要重啟AP，選擇Hardware Reset : Reset AP Now 就好了。如果是CLI命令行，輸入如下命令：
(Cisco Controller) >config ap reset ?
<Cisco AP> Enter the name of the Cisco AP.
示例：
先查看一下目前AP是正常加入WLC的：
(Cisco Controller) >show ap summary
Number of APs.................................... 1
Global AP User Name.............................. Not Configured
Global AP Dot1x User Name........................ Not Configured
AP Name Slots AP Model Ethernet MAC Location Country IP Address Clients DSE Location

重啟該AP：
(Cisco Controller) >config ap reset AP3602I-01

此時查看AP已經從WLC上消失：
(Cisco Controller) >show ap summary
Number of APs.................................... 0
Global AP User Name.............................. Not Configured
Global AP Dot1x User Name........................ Not Configured
稍等一會兒，再從WLC上查看，可以看到該AP已經重新加入WLC。
(Cisco Controller) >show ap summary
Number of APs.................................... 1
Global AP User Name.............................. Not Configured
Global AP Dot1x User Name........................ Not Configured
