1. SMOS數據介紹
The Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) 衛星是歐空局發射的一顆以探測地球土壤水含量以及海表鹽度為目標的衛星，衛星所搭載的唯一載荷為Microwave Imaging Radiometer using Aperture Synthesis (MIRAS微波成像綜合孔徑輻射計)。
SMOS的數據體系，目前有以下級別：
(1) Raw data:
SMOS Payload data in their original format (CCSDS packets)
(2) Level 0 data products:
These are SMOS payload data in so-called Source Packets with added Earth Explorer product headers. They are chronologically sorted by Source Packet type: Observation Data and Housekeeping Telemetry.
(3) Level 1 data products：
Level 1A data products: Reformatted and calibrated observation and housekeeping data in engineering units.
Level 1B data products: Output of the image reconstruction of the SMOS observation measurements and consist of Fourier components of brightness temperatures in the antenna polarisation reference frame.
Level 1C data products: Multi-incidence angle brightness temperatures at the top of the atmosphere, geolocated in an equal-area grid system.
(4) Level 1 Near Real Time data products
(5) Level 2 data products
Level 2 soil moisture data product; Level 2 sea surface salinity data product
(6) Level 2 Soil Moisture Near Real Time Neural Network data
(7) Level 3 Sea-ice product

2. SMOS數據下載
在網站https://eo-sso-idp.eo.esa.int/idp/umsso20/registration注冊ESA Earth Observation Users' Single Sign On賬號，此賬號也可用於下載ESA其他衛星產品以及部分合作機構的數據產品，可下載種類不少，具體種類自行去ESA官網查看，此處不再贅述。下面以Level 2 soil moisture data product為例介紹數據下載方法。以下網站對下載方法做了英文的介紹https://smos-diss.eo.esa.int/smos/faq.html
首先打開https://earth.esa.int/web/guest/home，點擊Access Data下拉列表的Browse Data Products，進入數據下載頁面。
在數據下載界面，可以瀏覽並下載多種傳感器的數據，我們需要SMOS數據，因此選擇根據Mission查詢，得到網站提供的SMOSS數據集。如下所示。我們需要下載L2級別的數據，因此選擇SMOS Science Products數據集，點擊GET DATA進入數據分發界面。
在數據分發界面，首先登錄EO-SSO賬號，然后點擊Collections按鈕，進入數據分發界面。
在數據分發界面，點擊數據集名稱進入數據查詢界面。
下圖展示了后兩種查詢方法界面。此處我選擇第一種查詢方法，進行數據查詢。
設置數據查詢條件（時間范圍、區域范圍、格式、數據集），Format設置為HTML search response 將展示單個的數據下載鏈接，如下所示。
在查詢結果界面，可以點擊單個文件下載。當Format設置為bulk downloads lists時，可以下載所有的數據下載鏈接。如下圖所示。
將下載出來的鏈接，利用下載工具如訊雷等進行批量下載。
此外也可以利用FTP工具進行數據下載。站點smos-diss.eo.esa.int，用戶名和密碼為注冊的EO-SSO賬戶密碼。推薦 Filezilla 軟件下載總體感覺所有的方式在國內訪問都比較慢。
另外，這一網站https://earth.esa.int/web/guest/software-tools提供了SMOS數據的相關處理工具。
