1、作名詞時，influence和effect都有影響的意思，但influence多指潛移默化的影響,類似"近朱者赤"這種.
effect則多指事物變化產生的后果。有時間因果的先后,有結果,效果,效力的意思。
influence是指經長期的,深刻地影響,對被影響者產生一時難以改變的結果.如父母對孩子的影響。
effect是指一事物對另一事物產生的短暫的,直接的影響.
The influence of climate on crops is self-evident.
氣候對農作物的影響是不證自明的。（這是潛移默化的影響）
This had a great effect upon the future of both mother and son.
這對母子倆的將來影響很大。（這是事物變化產生的后果）
2、作動詞時，意思差別很大
influence vt.影響,感化;左右
I don't want to influence you. You must decide for yourself.
