CentOS 7.4 發布了。CentOS 是 RHEL（Red Hat Enterprise Linux）源代碼再編譯的產物，而且在 RHEL 的基礎上修正了不少已知的 Bug ，相對於其他 Linux 發行版，其穩定性值得信賴。主要更新內容：

自從版本1503（abrt> = 2.1.11-19.el7.centos.0.1）以來，CentOS-7 可以直接向 bugs.centos.org 報告錯誤。關於該特性可以從這個頁面了解更多。

帶來各種新軟件包其中包括：python-gssapi，python-netifaces，mod_auth_openidc，pidgin 和 Qt5。

OpenSSL 現在支持 DTLS（通過 UDP 的 TLS）和 ALPN。

各種安裝包的加密功能有所增強。 I.e. sendmail now supports ECDHE, OpenSSH now using SHA2 for public key signatures, ... among others. All changes are too numerous to mention here, so please take a look at the upstream release notes.

各安裝包已重新設計。Some of those are openLDAP, samba, clufter, ipmitool, tcpdump, shim, GNOME, NetworkManager, Kernel-GRE-module, openssh, openSSL, libreswan, chrony, rsyslog, sudo and libvirt. Users of openldap should see the note in the known issues section below.
