Unable to connect to the MKS : Failed to connect to server XXXXXX:903

 

Issue : 通過 vSphere 連接VM控制台的時候, 報錯       Unable to connect to the MKS : Failed to connect to server XXXXXX:903

Error : Unable to connect to the MKS : Failed to connect to server XXXXXX:903

Case :ESX防火牆阻止903端口。此端口用於通過控制台管理虛擬機。

Solution :  我們可以用代理 “vmauthd” 來解決這個問題.

To do so:

1. 登錄 ESX service 控制台
2. 編輯 /etc/vmware/config 

          

　　　　vi /etc/vmware/config

 

  3. 在下面添加一行，如下信心,

          

　　　　vmauthd.server.alwaysProxy = “TRUE”

 

  4.  重啟 xinetd 服務

          

　　　　service xinetd restart

 

                    或者

          

　　　　/etc/init.d/xinetd restart

 

OK 了

 

vSphere 控制台可以連接上了，
