一直習慣於用chrome瀏覽器,但是工作中有需要不斷訪問EBS 系統,老是在chrome /IE/FireFox 直接切換,十分麻煩.近日在google上看到這個標題,心中一陣激動,但是看過之后,覺得標題寫的唬人,我們來看一下步驟:
Google Chrome 瀏覽器也可以使用Oracle EBS R12 Form了
根據國外這位老兄的做法，是可以實現的，同樣適應於Chrome。
I was able to get R12 forms working with the Chromium browser. I was getting the same exact FRM-92120 error you were getting. Now I’ve only tried this solution on a Linux host running Chromium, which is the open-source version of Chrome. I would imagine this solution would work in the regular Chrome browser as well.
1. Go to http://spoofer-extension.appspot.com and install the User-Agent switcher following the directions in the 10/28/2011 news post.
2. Restart your browser and now you should see a mask icon right next to your wrench icon.
3. Click on that icon and change the user-agent to ‘Mac Safari 4′.
4. Go to your forms url and log in. The java applet should now load up without the Registry.dat error.
5.(Optional) I went into the extension manager and clicked on the options for the User-Agent switcher. I then added the host name to the custom domain list so I don’t have to manually switch every time.
My version info just for reference:
Chromium: 15.0.874.106 (Developer Build 107270) Ubuntu 11.10
User-Agent Switcher for Chrome: 1.0.7
Oracle Applications : 12.1.3
不過，在Switcher的時候，需要選擇Mac Safari 4，選擇IE8，IE9 和Firefox 4都不行。Chrome版本是：19.0.1084.56 m
其實我個人認為這就是個plus,在訪問ebs from applet,去調用mac safari 而實現訪問EBS的.其實在win下應該也有這樣的瀏覽器.
